Kmaga Village
Kmaga Village is a small unique village on the Eastern coast of Santa Isabel. It’s Isabel’s newest village stay holiday destination where you will experience true Solomon Island hospitality in a real and typical village environment. You’ll stay right next door to local families and interact with cheeky kids, friendly villages and local chiefs - meeting new friends within small local families who live in this remote part of Solomon Islands. Kmaga village stay can cater for up to 5 people so you can drift away and live the Melanesian life style.
Accommodation
Accommodation is in 1 bungalow, it has 2 bedrooms with a main lounge and living area. It’s set right on the beach with amazing views and huge rain trees around it for shade from the midday sun. There is a solar power system, (12 volts) with limited 240 v through an inverter (for ipod/camera).
Kmaga is located near the capital of Buala which has a police station, government buildings, small restaurants, some great waterfalls, medical clinic, trade store offering food, clothing and general supplies and an ice works if you really want a cold beer or soft drink.
Food
Most food is local organic and straight from the garden or ocean.
Dress Code
Modest dress is encouraged throughout the village Bikinis should be reserved for swimming in the sea/rivers.
