Booking conditions
All documents relating to transport, accommodation or other services and facilities ("the travel service") are issued by Go Tours Travel ("the company") only as agent for each of the suppliers with whom the company arranges services for its clients ("the principals"), subject to these terms and conditions.
The company is not liable for cancellation of journeys, deviations, delays, or failure to provide seating, berths, luggage storage or accommodation, nor for any alteration made by a principal following acceptance of a booking — clients are responsible for any resulting increase in charges. Clients are responsible for reconfirming flights. The company does not accept responsibility for death, injury, damage or loss to persons or goods however caused, and while it endeavours to give the most up-to-date information, it does not warrant the accuracy of information or statements made by its own staff, agents, or those of the principals.
Tickets, bookings and reservations are only confirmed upon lodgement of a completed booking form and a deposit — receipt of a deposit does not itself constitute acceptance of a booking. The balance is due no later than 45–60 days prior to departure, depending on your specific arrangements. Failure to pay the balance by the due date entitles the company to cancel the booking, and the deposit is forfeited. Late payments or bookings within 21 days of departure incur a $50 late booking fee.
Cancellations must be made in writing. The client is responsible for all expenses the company incurs in making and cancelling the booking, and for any charges the principals lawfully require as a result of the cancellation. The company may deduct the following cancellation fees from monies paid:
- The complete deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
- Cancellation received 60+ days before departure: the deposit is forfeited plus a 50% cancellation fee on all tours booked.
- Cancellation received within 60 days of departure: no refund is due.
Monies paid to travel service suppliers are also subject to those suppliers' own cancellation fees. The company reserves the right to modify or cancel arrangements without notice, including where a group booking falls below the minimum numbers required for a quoted rate — in that case, all monies paid are refunded after deduction of fees and expenses already incurred.
- Tour costs are based on land costs, airfares and currency rates current at the time of quoting or booking, and may be amended without notice before departure if these fluctuate.
- Travel insurance is mandatory.
- Refunds are not available for tours, accommodation or other services not utilised.
- Package inclusions are as listed in your itinerary. Costs not included: baggage, personal spending money, travel insurance (unless specified), airport departure taxes (unless specified), passport and inoculation costs.
- Passports must have at least 6 months' validity from your return date.
- Visas are the client's responsibility — ask us if you're unsure whether you need one. We can assist with visa applications for a fee of up to $50.
- If you sign a booking form on behalf of another person, you warrant that you have their consent and that you personally accept these terms on their behalf.
