Day by day
Day 1 — Brisbane to the Western Province
Fly Solomon Airlines to Honiara and transfer to your domestic flight to Seghe airfield, where a representative from Evis Resort meets you for the 20-minute boat trip to the island.
Days 1–3 — Evis Resort
The Solomons’ newest resort — king-size beds, modern bathrooms, a coral reef full of tropical fish, and clear warm water a few steps from your bungalow veranda. Take a trip to the traditional Seghe markets and Bareho Village for wood carving and crafts, snorkel the nearby plane wreck, or take a bush walk.
Day 4 — Evis to Gizo
A final day at Evis, then a 25-minute midday flight to Gizo, with a boat transfer waiting at the airport.
Days 4–7 — Oravae Cottage
Scuba diving and snorkelling WWII wrecks, fishing, hiking Kolombangara, visiting local villages and much more — as much or as little as you like.
Day 8 — Gizo to Brisbane
Depart Gizo airfield and travel home via Honiara.
