Beachfront Suite
The luxury 4.5 star Beachfront Suites feel like being in your own native hut, right on the beach. The 48 suites are situated directly on the white sands of Aroa Beach with fabulous lagoon views and offer a distinctive island experience with South Seas tropical décor and beautiful appointments including superb tiled bathroom with black pearl-shell accents, a spacious curved glass shower and rain-tree vanity top with designer porcelain basin, rattan-lined walls, hand crafted lighting and artwork, rattan furniture, tropical kauri wardrobe and desk, and excellent indoor-outdoor flow through wide-opening sliding doors framed in tropical kauri. These are a stylish, stunning suite complete with island- style thatched roofs and an absolute beachfront location. The Beachfront Suites are located either directly on the sand at ground-level, or one level up with high gabled wooden ceiling and higher-angle views of Aroa Beach and lagoon. Which one is better is entirely up to your own personal preference! Please request either ground level or level one at time of booking. Please note that we have one pair (i.e. two suites) of ground-level Beachfront Suites that is interconnecting through a sound proof, internal door. These are available on request and are subject to availability.
Honeymoon Suite
The Sanctuary features one Honeymoon Spa Suite. Situated overlooking lush tropical gardens, the Honeymoon Spa Suite is a one of a kind experience for honeymooners or any couples in love. The Honeymoon Spa Suite includes a private Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, Vichy Shower and spa bath. Our qualified therapists from SpaPolynesia LUXE @ Lime Blossom Villa can provide in-room treatments specially designed for him and her. The Honeymoon Spa Suite is not located on the beach and does not have beach or lagoon views; it is very private and looks out onto the high mountain interior of Rarotonga.

Swim up Bar and Poolside Dining Pavillion
Sanctuary Rarotonga’s secluded pool features a swim up bar in an adults-only environment, the ONLY swim-up bar at a high-end resort on Rarotonga. Enjoy a long cool tropical cocktail, cold beer or wine served to you either whilst relaxing at the swim-up bar or poolside. Our private swimming pool is encircled by its own beach if you feel like a change from our beautiful Aroa Beach on the shores of gorgeous Aroa Lagoon. On-shore winds typically blow onto the Muri side of the island, but on occasion they can swing around towards Aroa Beach, and if that happens, you have the great option of being able to continue sunning and relaxing right by the pool, completely sheltered from any on-shore breeze on the day. When you feel a bit peckish enjoy a mouthwatering selection of island-style snacks and light meals all of which can be served to you poolside from 11am to 6pm. Relax and enjoy!
