Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa is situated over two absolute beachfront locations in the Muri Beach area of Rarotonga which also has the small outer islands very close by. This is on the Southern side of the island, which is protected largely from tropical cyclones and which has spectacular sunrises, rising moon over the water, and the afterglow of spectacular sunsets. All the Rumours villas are far enough away from the larger resorts in the Muri Beach area to allow you to mostly have a very private beach to enjoy. Apart from the occasional people out for a lengthier beach stroll – you will see very few people from your beachfront villa deck, so it really is a luxury retreat to privacy and peaceful surroundings - if you are on honeymoon or just wanting a complete vacation from stress!

Rumours is the perfect venue for romantic secluded honeymoons in the Cook Islands. All villas have all their bedrooms directly positioned to take in the most wonderful setting possible, and you can enjoy your complimentary champagne either sitting on the deck overlooking the tropical Muri Lagoon, or on the deck overlooking the waterfall into your private pool and tropical garden area with the romantic lighting designed to give an additional dimension to the ambiance.
