Day by day

Day 1 — Brisbane to Seghe

Fly Solomon Airlines to Honiara, then transfer to your domestic flight to Seghe airfield. A representative from Uepi Island Resort meets you and takes you the 30 minutes to the resort by boat.

Days 1–4 — Uepi Island Resort

Uepi is famous for its diving, and if you do not dive the snorkelling is every bit as good. There is far more than diving on offer — cultural visits, kayaking, coconut crab walks and more. Day 3 is at leisure.

Day 5 — Seghe to Munda

A boat back to Seghe airfield and a 40-minute flight to Munda, then roughly 20 minutes by boat to Lola Island, where Zipolo Habu sits.

Days 5–7 — Zipolo Habu Resort

Do not miss the tour to Skull Island, a shrine of the local warrior chiefs and a taste of the area’s head-hunting past. The fishing and diving here are excellent. Day 7 is at leisure.

Day 8 — Munda to Gizo

A two-hour scenic boat ride through the Vona Vona lagoon, skimming across turquoise water dotted with green pod-like islands, wildlife and small villages along the shore.

Days 8–11 — Sanbis Resort

A short boat ride from Gizo township and its restaurants and markets. Fishing, island walks, kayaking and WWII tours are all on offer, and you can snorkel or dive ship and plane wrecks. Day 10 is at leisure.
